Can roofers work in the rain?
Some jobs can carry on in light rain, such as work under a sheeted section or tasks once the membrane is down. Others can't: mortar, adhesives and fibreglass resin all need dry conditions, and wet tiles are unsafe to walk on. A roof is never left open when rain is on the way.
Can roofers work in winter?
Yes, with planning. Shorter days, frost and wind limit what can be done on a given day, and some materials need a minimum temperature. Repairs carry on through the year, while larger jobs are scheduled around settled spells.
